Terms of Service

Effective date: October 17, 2026

These Terms govern your use of astherlau.com and every order you place through it. They sit alongside our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and Refund and Returns Policy, which form part of the same agreement. By browsing the site or buying from it you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the site.

1. Who you are dealing with

Astherlau is the trading name of CORRY KITCHEN LLC, based in COLUMBUS, OH. We sell Kitchen & Home Basics products through this online store and nowhere else under this name.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian, to order from this site. You agree that the information you give us — name, address, contact details, payment details — is accurate, current and complete, and that you will keep it up to date. Orders placed with information we cannot verify may be cancelled.

3. Products and availability

We sell Kitchen & Home Basics products, described on their own product pages. Stock is finite and listings change: we may modify, withdraw or discontinue any product at any time without notice. We take care with product photography and descriptions, but colours vary between screens and hand-measured dimensions carry small tolerances, which the listings note where the maker states them.

4. Prices and tax

All prices are shown in US Dollars (USD) and exclude sales tax unless stated otherwise. The full cost of your order, including any applicable tax, is displayed at checkout before you confirm it. We may change prices at any time, though a change never affects an order already confirmed. If an obvious pricing or description error appears on the site, we reserve the right to correct it and to cancel any affected order, refunding you in full.

5. Orders and acceptance

Placing an order is an offer to buy. A confirmation email acknowledges that we received it; the contract is formed when we dispatch the goods. We may decline or cancel an order — for example where stock has run out, where an error has been found, or where a transaction looks fraudulent — and if we do, you are refunded in full.

6. Payment

We accept Shop Pay, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, Elo, JCB, and UnionPay. Payment is taken at checkout through Shopify Payments over an encrypted connection, and full card details are never stored on our servers. Every charge is shown to you before you confirm; there are no hidden fees.

7. Shipping

We ship only within the United States, to all 50 states, using one free standard service. International and expedited shipping are not available. Processing and transit times, tracking and delivery limits are set out in full in our Shipping Policy.

8. Cancellations

If you need to cancel, write to support@astherlau.com as soon as you can. We will stop an order if it has not yet been processed; once it has been picked, packed or dispatched, it can no longer be cancelled.

9. Returns and refunds

We accept returns for manufacturing defects, damage in transit and wrong items received. Change of mind is not covered. The eligibility rules, the time limits and the procedure are set out in our Refund and Returns Policy, which applies to every order.

10. Your account

If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for everything done under them. Tell us at support@astherlau.com at once if you think somebody else has gained access to it.

11. Acceptable use

When using this site, you agree not to:

• use it for anything unlawful or fraudulent;
• interfere with its security, availability or normal operation;
• scrape, copy, republish or resell its content without our written permission;
• upload malicious code, or anything designed to damage or disrupt;
• attempt to reach any part of the site, its servers or its data that is not meant to be public.

12. Intellectual property

The content of this site — text, product photography, graphics, layout, logos and the compilation of all of it — is owned by or licensed to Astherlau and is protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, adapt or exploit any of it commercially without our prior written consent.

13. Disclaimer

The site and its contents are provided on an as is and as available basis. We work to keep the information accurate and the site running, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, and we give no warranty beyond those implied by law that cannot be excluded.

14. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Astherlau and CORRY KITCHEN LLC are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising out of your use of the site or your purchase of a product — including loss of data, revenue, profit or goodwill — whether the claim is founded in contract, tort or anything else. Nothing here limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

15. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CORRY KITCHEN LLC, its officers and its staff against any claim, loss, liability or reasonable legal cost arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the site, or your infringement of somebody else's rights.

16. Privacy

Your use of the site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect, why, and who else sees it.

17. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio and of the United States. Any dispute arising from them or from your use of the site shall be brought before the courts of the State of Ohio.

18. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The revised version is posted on this page with a new effective date, and continuing to use the site after that counts as acceptance of it.
