The moment I came home, I realised the apartment is in need of a Spring Cleaning as well as some re-organising. Well… I’m famous for my short attention period especially when it comes to cleaning or doing a long project. So, it’ll take me some time before I finish this “project” but I intend to finish it, YES! Slowly but SURELY!
At the same time, for our friends who are reading this blog (I hope… hmmm… donno if many visits this blog often), hubby & I have started Project Baby since our honeymoon in Layang-Layang Island. Hehehe… Well… will keep you updated if there’s any news! Pray for us & wish us luck!
With this Project Baby underway, I’ve had had done some soul searching & made a major decision to “slow down” in my diving career. Well… if I do get pregnant, scuba diving will have to be on-hold for me obviously, however, I’ll continue the dive travel operations with the exception that I won’t be diving with the dive groups that I help organise with for their trips.
For those who knows me well, I am an active person who can’t stand still what more to sit still at one place for too long without anything to keep my mind busy at the very least. So, to avoid going crazy for staying too long at home doing nothing, I’ve decided to turn another passion of mine into a part-time job. Yup… u guessed it. Photography and my new-found hobby; scrapbooking.
Well… altho I said I’ve decided… YET… I’ve not have the guts nor the proper planning on how to start-off this new business. At the moment, with the Spring Cleaning project underway God only knows how I’m gonna juggle dat with my Business Planning project. Sigh… Someone teach me how to do Time Management and make a clone or two of myself!
So far, I’ve started with collecting my photo collections for my portfolio. I’ve also been going around “begging” and “bribing” fellow friends to be my models for some portrait shots which I do not have yet in my collection.
I also plan to start-off my scrapbooking business pretty soon, especially after I done Spring Cleaning project so I have a work station at home for the scrapbooking projects. Actually, my intention is to expand this business more into the future & only keep doing photography on a smaller scale. This is because both work nature requires a lot of time, physical & mental investments. However, I believe scrapbooking will give me more flexibility in terms of time at home with our children, lighter physical & mental stress as well as being more unique & special in the service I want to provide to my clients.
You may ask why not start-off my scrapbooking business immediately? Well… I hope my photography business will open the door to this business first. I need to show my clients the samples of my work & pray to God they’ll like it and words will start going around. Once my portfolio gets stronger, I hope other professional photographers will get to know who I am and will be willing to add my scrapbooking service into their existing services.
I know… it sounds all dreamy at the moment but heck… I have to start somewhere and I’m really good at dreaming! Now God please send me a wonderful & easy business plan to continue my next journey!
Friends out there… do you think you can help me out?
Advices & opportunities would be wonderful for this little beggar me. *BLUSH*

Hi Asther,
Also did u use your brand new prime lens to capture the action? HAHAHAHAhAHah (sorry can’t help myself)
[23-06-08 | 11:38 PM]How was ur Thailand trip? What’s this scrapbooking thing all about? Sounds like during school time doing scrapbook. And project baby sounds sexy too. So it turned out that ur Layang Layang honeymoon was actually a covert operation for project baby. Sounds very James Bondish. Did u guys wear sunglasses while doing the deed?
